I am the Mistress of un-representation
I am the voice of the invincible loss
you will receive my tears
water the tree – that produces the canes to whip into our minds the loss of a body
water the river – that drowns the babies to tell us our emotions are less than others
water the soil – that grows the food we don’t have the right to eat and feed generations from now
I am the Mistress of un-representation
I am the Mistress of un-representation
I am the body of transparent identity
you will receive my sweat
water the neighbours – who sees you in the corner of their eyes just to ignore your existence
water the community – that accepts to exploit your labour without acknowledging a name
water the nation – that crisscross a wall to label your papers as bare as a raped woman’s womb
I am the Mistress of un-representation
I am the Mistress of un-representation
I am the Mistress of un-representation
I am the life of shadow experience
you will receive my amniotic fluid
water the unborn – who disappears before they even have gotten a name that is real
water the dying – who had lived a life without seeing or talking truths for others to hear
water the souls – whom we have forgotten in the name of modernity, objects and laws
I am the Mistress of un-representation
My words are weaker than yours
My heart is smaller than yours
My existence is based on water
